Help with your Resume
Option 1 - The easiest way to
create a JPG or GIF of your resume is to scan a hard copy of it.
1. Print it out from
your computer.
2. Use a scanner to import your document as a photo file.
3. Save it as a GIF file if it is a black-and-white text-based document.
Save it as a JPG if it has colorful pictures on it.
Option 2 - Another way is to export your resume file as a PDF document,
open in an image viewer program, and then save it as a GIF or JPG from there.
Option 3 - Another way to
create your photo resume would be to do a screen-capture.
On a Windows-based machine:
1. Display your resume on your screen as large as you think would look
good.
2. Press the Print Screen button located at the top-right of your
keyboard. This will copy your screen to your clipboard.
3. Open a picture-editing program like Photoshop or Paint.
4. Paste the desktop screen-capture into the new document by pressing
the CTRL and V keys together.
On a Macintosh-based
machine:
1.
Display your resume on your screen as
large as you think would look good.
2. Press the keys Command (Apple Key), Shift, and the number 3 together
on your keyboard. This will copy your screen to your clipboard.
3. Open a picture-editing program like Photoshop.
4. Paste the desktop screen-capture into the new document by pressing
Command (Apple Key) and V together.
Since the document is
probably larger than your screen, you may have to do sections of the document
and paste them together in your picture-editing program.
Once done, save it as a GIF
file if it is a black-and-white text-based document. Save it as a JPG if
it has colorful pictures on it.
